Direct Care Staff I (NOC Shift) 12:00am-9:00am, weekdays/weekends.

Note:

Initial orientation and training hours will be at different hours (daytime and evening) during the beginning process. NOC shift hours will not start until Orientation and training is complete. Position starts at minimum wage ($16.90). NOC shift staff receives an additional premium to their hourly wage.

Program Manager Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Able to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be able to pass the Live Scan Fingerprinting.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including splits, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Complete pre-employment requirements. Physical, Drug Screen, and TB tests.
• Successfully complete PAID orientation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and push up to 50 pounds (on wheels). Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, speak clearly in order to communicate information to patients and staff. Must be able to read memos, computer screens, personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents. Must have high manual dexterity. Must be able to reach above the shoulder level to work, must be able to bend, squat and sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn. Must be able to stay awake and be alert during the nighttime hours.

Responsibilities:

Client Services

• Assist clients in activities of daily living. Eating, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene. Complete client care.
• Provide clients with the opportunity to make choices and be independent.
• Perform Medication Passes when training is complete.
• Must become proficient in specialized procedures as needed.
• Meal Preparation
• Completing household chores and cleaning as delegated by the Program Manager.

Report any observation or occurrence of rights violation immediately to direct supervisor or appropriate administrative supervisor. Complete reporting requirements as a Mandated Reporter. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned.
