A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.
We're looking for Part-time Caregivers to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to each resident's service plan and scope of practice, promoting independence, dignity, and resident rights. Respond promptly to resident needs, pendant calls, alarms, and emergencies. Conduct safety checks and routine rounds; communicate resident status and any changes in condition to nursing/supervisors in a timely manner. Accurately document care provided, complete incident reports, and follow approved charting procedures. Assist with mobility, transfers, personal care, meals, and maintaining residents' personal belongings and living spaces. Support a clean, safe, and orderly environment by following infection control and safety policies and addressing environmental hazards. Encourage socialization and participation in activities while recognizing and addressing behavioral and psychosocial needs. Maintain professional, positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and vendors; support the organization's mission and team goals. Remain flexible, reliable, and punctual; complete assigned duties and required training. Immediately report incidents, safety concerns, suspected abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property per policy.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Caregiver Committed to health & safety Able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills A positive and compassionate attitude Physical stamina CPR certified High school diploma or equivalent

2:00 pm- 10:00 pm 10:00 pm- 6:00 am
