In person, Monrovia, California Job Description Vision Life is hiring a dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide in-home support to an adult with physical and developmental disabilities who may also experience behavioral challenges. The Wednesday and Thursday shifts in Monrovia are the primary commitment for this position. Additional hours may be available in Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena for staff who would like to work at those locations alongside their Monrovia schedule. Flexibility to provide backup or additional coverage is preferred. Knowledge or experience supporting individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome is preferred. This condition may involve challenges with appetite management, routines, emotional regulation, and behavior. Staff must be comfortable following structured support plans and maintaining consistent boundaries. Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, and hygiene as needed
• Support independent living skills, community integration, and social activities
• Follow person-centered plans, behavioral strategies, and established routines
• Provide positive redirection and consistent support
• Follow dietary and food management guidelines as required
• Complete accurate and timely service documentation
• Assist with medications according to company policy when trained and authorized
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Follow health and safety protocols
• Communicate professionally with the individual served, family members, supervisors, and team members Minimum Requirements
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California driver's license
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check through Live Scan
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and TB/health screening, or willingness to obtain them promptly
• Ability to complete all required new hire and in-service training
• Ability to assist with transfers and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable providing personal care Reliable transportation and current auto insurance, DSP or caregiving experience, knowledge of Prader-Willi syndrome, and flexibility for additional coverage are preferred. Schedule

• Primary commitment: 16 scheduled hours per week in Monrovia
