Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers in the city of Burbank and Monrovia area to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being. to make a difference tomorrow. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being. Support mobility and transfer needs using patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques. Be capable of working with tall/heavy clients Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption when needed. Maintain detailed care plans, document patient progress, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments or community outings to promote social engagement. Ensure a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization. Skills Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or aging populations is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring. Familiarity with assisted living environments, nursing homes, or home health care settings. Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification preferred but not required. Experience working with residents who have Alzheimer's disease or dementia; understanding memory care strategies is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
