Duties Provide compassionate personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and transferring using proper manual handling techniques like Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Offer reliable transportation to medical appointments, community activities, or errands while ensuring safety and comfort Monitor client health by observing vital signs, patient condition changes, and maintaining detailed care plans in accordance with healthcare guidelines Support medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules while respecting resident's rights and privacy standards (HIPAA compliance) Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and infection control practices Engage in active patient observation to identify any changes in condition or behavior that may require escalation or medical attention Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to support diverse needs Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in manual handling, medication administration, and HIPAA regulations is advantageous Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of patient observations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with patient transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other transfer methods Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays demonstrates your adaptability and compassion Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for reliable transportation assistance A proactive attitude towards caregiving coupled with patience, empathy, and respect for resident's rights Join us to provide exceptional care that promotes independence while ensuring safety and dignity.
