Friday 2:00-6:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday 12:00-6:00
PM Position:
Long-term We are seeking a reliable, patient, and confident Direct Support Service Provider to provide in-home support for a happy, bubbly 5-year-old boy with autism. He is verbal, thrives with structure, and enjoys Play-Doh, reading, and all things Disney! Responsibilities Provide one-on-one supervision and support in the home. Maintain a consistent and structured routine. Engage him in play, reading, and age-appropriate activities. Encourage positive behaviors and participation, including working through frequent "no" responses. Provide close supervision due to eloping behaviors. Assist with plating already-prepared food. Maintain a positive, patient, and confident approach. Important to Know Parent will be on-site during shifts. No toileting responsibilities. No cooking responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is warm and playful while also having a strong, confident personality and the ability to provide consistent boundaries and structure.
Pay:
$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you have previous experience working with children with autism? (not required)
