OPTIONS Family of Services, a local non-profit organization, strives to help people with intellectual disabilities meet their wants and desires as citizens within their community. We serve 200 people from Paso Robles to Santa Maria. Daily, we improve the lives of those we serve. We are currently looking for full time staff to work with our individuals at our group home in Morro Bay. Hours available are weekday evenings (3pm-10pm) and weekends (any time), as well as sleeping overnight shifts (the pay for sleeping shifts is minimum wage, $16.90 per hour). Prior experience is desired but not required. Staff work in the home with up to 6 individuals with intellectual disabilities helping them learn to cook, clean and do laundry, as well as helping them to work on their social interaction and behavioral goals. They also provide support with other personal needs such as passing medication, budgeting, meal planning and preparation and hygiene needs. The starting rate for this position is $22.50 per hour. Staff who have completed Direct Support Professional Training year 1 and year 2 through the State of California will earn $23 per hour.

$16.90 - $22.50 per hour
