Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Skills Experience in group home or home health settings is preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices and meal preparation techniques. Familiarity with CPR techniques and emergency response protocols. Ability to create and follow detailed care plans effectively. Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and families. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy is maintained. Previous experience in assisted living environments is a plus.
