Job Description

Caregiver (Care Pro) — Set Weekly Schedule Elivate — Smart Home Care for Seniors Redwood City

  • Woodside Full-time hours. Shorter visits. Same clients. One local area. $22-$24/hour
  • 30-40 hours/week
  • Benefits + 401(k)
  • Paid mileage & drive time At Elivate, you won't spend every week hunting for open shifts.
You'll have a set weekly schedule — the same clients, the same days, the same times, all on the mid-Peninsula — Redwood City, San Carlos, Menlo Park, Atherton, and Woodside. You'll typically see a few regular clients each day for 2-4 hour visits . We build your route around your availability, and once it's built, it's yours. No shift bidding. No commuting across the Bay. No wondering what next week's paycheck looks like. You're not a shift. You're somebody's Care Pro. What you'll do This is hands-on caregiving, not companionship only. Personal care in clients' homes — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance Meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands Medication reminders, and watching for changes in condition Real companionship — conversation, activities, presence Documenting each visit and communicating clearly with our care team and the client's family Representing Elivate well. You are the face of this company in every home you enter. Families judge us by you — and we hire people we're proud to be judged by. Why the schedule works Full-time stability without being stuck in one 8-12 hour shift: Predictable. Same clients, same days, same times. You can plan childcare, school, a life. Focused. Two to four hours of hands-on care, then a change of scenery — a very different day than watching the clock through a 10-hour sit. Real relationships, without the burnout of marathon shifts. You see the same people often enough to notice when something's off. Short drives. Your clients are minutes apart, not freeway exits apart — and mileage and drive time between visits are paid. Daytime only. All visits fall inside a 7am-7pm window. No overnights, ever. Weekdays-only works here — and if you'd rather work weekends, we especially want to hear from you. What you can count on $22-$24 per hour, paid weekly by direct deposit, with overtime and holiday pay A schedule we commit to. We build it with you, then we hold to it — no bidding, no scrambling Sunday night
Benefits:
health, dental, and vision insurance
  • paid sick time
  • 401(k) Referral and rewards programs — get paid for bringing us great Care Pros, and get recognized when you go above and beyond for a client Real room to grow.
Elivate is expanding across the Peninsula and we hire from within. Care Pros who prove themselves move into Care Pro Lead, Tech Pro, and office roles as we open new areas Technology that has your back. Every client we serve has smart technology in the home — a way to call for help when no one is there, plus health and activity trends we watch between visits. You're never the only safety net, and you walk in already knowing how your client has been doing since you last saw them A real person answers the phone. When something comes up mid-visit, you reach our team. And when you flag a change in a client's condition, it actually changes the care plan What we're looking for
Required:
Active registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry — or willingness to register (we submit the application for you and cover the cost) Ability to pass a background check and provide current TB clearance Reliable vehicle, valid California driver's license, and current auto insurance A smartphone for scheduling, clock-in, and care notes Legal authorization to work in the United States What makes someone great at this: You show up. On time, every time — because three people are counting on exactly that today You're professional in someone's home. Presentable, respectful, discreet You're warm. Families remember how you made them feel long after they forget what you did You notice things. A change in appetite, balance, or mood doesn't get past you You speak up early instead of hoping a problem sorts itself out Professional caregiving experience is a plus — but some of the best Care Pros we've met got their start caring for their own family. If you have the heart for this work and the reliability we require, apply. Why Care Pros stay At many home care companies, you're a name in a pool — re-competing for hours every week, meeting strangers, starting over. Here you're an ongoing member of a small team, with a schedule, clients who know you, a coordinator who knows you, and a company that intends to grow with you in it. We'd rather hire five Care Pros we can keep for years than fifty we see once. How to apply Hit Apply and answer a few quick questions. We review applications daily and you'll hear from a real person — same day or next — not an automated screen. Elivate is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
