Position Responsibilities Summary:

Caregiver/Home Care Aide is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the RN Manager and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client's needs. The Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of a client's care. This position will not perform any medical or skilled services. Services provided will be non-medical.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.

Varied assistance is required depending on the ability of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Visual and hearing acuity required.

Environment:

Contact with clients under a wide variety of circumstances. Care provided in client's living environment with varying situations or in an institution such as a hospital. Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or GED 2. Certification CPR (ARC) 3. Certified CPR and current physical or

T.B./PPD

test, if applicable 4. Minimum one (1) year of documented experience 5. Licensed driver with reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with the organization's requirements 6. Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality 7. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively 8. Should be registered with CDSS as an HCO 9. Should be able to provide proof for a clear TB test results 10. Should have a clear CDSS background check
