Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ARF Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional care to residents in assisted living and long-term care settings. In this vital role, you will support individuals with daily activities, promote their well-being, and foster a safe, respectful environment. Your energy and enthusiasm will help enhance residents' quality of life through personalized care and attentive support. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Support residents using specialized techniques to ensure safety and comfort. Administer medication following prescribed protocols and document all medication-related activities accurately. Engage residents in social activities, meal preparation, and recreational programs to promote mental and physical well-being. Maintain a clean, safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or residential care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques. Certification in CPR and first aid is required; ongoing training is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork within a caregiving environment. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive challenges is advantageous.
