About us Bustling single-parent family with 16-year-old exceptional needs son. We value integrity, adventure, and resilience. Provide direct personal care support, supervision, and recreation to a 16-year-old special needs child while the parent works in and out of the home. Teen enjoys playing Pokemon, video games, watching YouTube, anime (One Piece), furniture and boat building, fishing, penguins, math, and trains. They have a big heart and love to help others. Responsibilities:

Provides direct care to teen daily including assisting with ADLs & IADLs Manage and implement daily treatment routines reliably Provide companionship & emotional support Model appropriate interpersonal behaviors Reinforce & encourage participation with appropriate coping skills Hand teen pre-dosed medication and prompt to take Prepare meals and snacks Monitor stamina/energy levels and supervise rest Light housework such as vacuuming, dishes, wiping down counters, folding laundry, tidying teen's areas, etc. Accurately complete documentation

Qualifications:

Effectively uses good judgment to make decisions. Preferred experience with positive behavior support, ABA, CPI, special needs care, or as a direct service professional (DSP) Previous experience with personal care, personal assistance, or child care. Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. CPR/ First Aid Certifications required, willing to provide training if needed. LiveScan background check required before beginning employment. Dependable, calm, and adaptable. Able to lift 50lbs.

$26/hr
