Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning and preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Support clients with transportation needs for medical appointments or errands, ensuring safe and reliable travel assistance. Qualifications Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and neurodevelopmental disorders enhances your ability to provide specialized support. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper techniques for patient transfer methods.
