Job Description
Direct Support Professional
- Community Integration Network, Inc.
REQUIRED
1-year experience with Developmentally/Physically Disabled or similar population, HS Diploma/GED-some college desired, CPR/First Aid Certified within 90 days, Finger Print Clearance, CA Driver's License, clean driving record, up to date vehicle registration, reliable vehicle, able to assist with transfers/lifting, good verbal and written English skills, organized and attentive to detail, and able to meet specific deadlines. We offer a , a gas and phone stipend, and medical, dental and vision benefits. This position offers the flexibility to schedule clients by appointment, when it is convenient for you. Work Remotely No- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Implement care plans and follow specific instructions for each individual
- Promote and uphold the rights and dignity of residents
- Support individuals with Developmental Disabilities in their daily routines and activities
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide companionship and engage residents in social activities
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Lift and transfer residents as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of hospice care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
