Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a full-time or part-time QMAP/Caregiver working overnight (NOC shift)! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in assisted living or memory care. Your expertise will help ensure residents' safety, comfort, and dignity while supporting their needs. This position offers a dynamic environment where your caregiving skills make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Whether assisting with personal care, medication administration, or engaging residents in social activities, your energetic approach will foster a warm and supportive community. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health status is maintained Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care by implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Support residents' nutritional needs through meal preparation and feeding assistance while maintaining a clean and safe environment Conduct routine safety checks, respond promptly to resident calls or emergencies during the overnight shift, and document incidents thoroughly Engage residents in social activities and meaningful interactions to promote mental well-being and community involvement Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of long-term care practices, home & community care environments, or personal care homes Hands-on experience with medication administration and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with dementia care techniques, Alzheimer's support strategies, and behavior management approaches Proven ability to assist individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring direct support Experience operating EMR systems for accurate documentation of resident care activities Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities related to resident outings or errands is a plus Join us to be part of a compassionate team committed to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving.
