PM Position:

Full-Time Caregiver Join Our Team! Libby Bortz Assisted Living Center is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Caregiver to join our resident care team on our PM shift, Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM . Our caregivers play an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for our residents. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with seniors and takes pride in providing respectful, compassionate care. What You'll Do As a Caregiver, you will provide direct personal care and assistance to residents according to their individual care plans and needs.

Responsibilities include:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including dressing, grooming, hygiene, toileting, and incontinence care. Provide compassionate, respectful personal care while promoting resident dignity and independence. Assist residents with mobility and transfers, including use of gait belts when required by the resident's care plan. Assist residents with oxygen and other care needs as outlined in their service plans. Check on residents at least every 2 hours and provide care based on their individual needs and care plans. Monitor residents for changes in condition, behavior, or other concerns and promptly report significant changes to the Care Coordinator or Manager on Duty. Accurately document resident care and observations in PCC (PointClickCare) and complete required shift checklists and documentation. Complete incident reports when appropriate. Maintain clean, safe, and orderly resident living areas, common spaces, and break rooms. Clean resident bathrooms when visibly soiled. Respond appropriately to resident emergencies and follow established infection-control, fire, safety, and emergency procedures. Carry and respond to a portable radio throughout the shift. Develop professional and respectful relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and community members. Participate in resident activities and socialization opportunities. Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and educational programs. Learn and follow applicable Colorado assisted living regulations and facility policies. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Care Coordinators or Executive Director.

What We're Looking For Required:

High school diploma or GED. Ability to clearly speak, read, and write English. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability and willingness to complete required training, in-services, and staff meetings. Compassionate attitude and genuine interest in caring for older adults. Ability to work independently while also being a strong member of a team. Preferred, but not required: Previous assisted living, senior care, home care, or healthcare experience. Experience working with residents who require assistance with ADLs and mobility. Physical & Working Requirements Caregiving is an active position. The caregiver must be comfortable working around body fluids, infections, odors, and a variety of resident behaviors. The position requires the ability to: Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds . Stand and walk for extended periods. Bend, squat, kneel, crawl, and reach as needed. Assist residents with mobility and personal care using proper body mechanics.
