We provide in-home care to seniors and adults throughout Bloomfield, CT and surrounding areas . We prefer caregivers with previous home care, senior care, assisted living, nursing home, or related experience. Experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Drivers are also preferred, but you do not have to be a driver to apply. We have 4-12 hour shifts available , with opportunities for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and flexible schedules. What You'll Do Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with walking, mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed. Follow client care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the office. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and assistance keeping the client's home safe and organized. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community activities when appropriate. Work safely and respectfully while protecting each client's dignity, privacy, and independence. Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with the FirstLight team. What We're Looking For Previous caregiving or home care experience is preferred but not required . Experience with seniors, dementia/memory care, disabilities, or assisted living/nursing home settings is a plus. HHA or CNA certification is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Reliable and dependable. Comfortable providing hands-on personal care. Able to safely assist with mobility and transfers. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Reliable transportation/driving experience is preferred, but not required. Must be willing to work the shifts you commit to and provide dependable care to our clients. Schedule 4-12 hour shifts available Part-time and full-time opportunities Weekday and weekend shifts Day, evening, and overnight opportunities may be available Flexible scheduling based on client needs and your availability Pay $17
