This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive personal care, health monitoring, and companionship. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, noting changes and reporting to healthcare professionals as needed Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling techniques during patient transfers Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring infection control standards are met Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being, especially for clients with dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and home health practices is advantageous Ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and assist with medication administration accurately Familiarity with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in nursing or healthcare are a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks confidently while maintaining safety standards Join us as an In Home Caregiver if you're passionate about providing compassionate care that makes a real difference.
