Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location:
Clinton, CT Pay:
$19.76 per hour
Schedule:
Full-time, awake overnight shifts TriSource Staffing is seeking dependable and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to work in small residential group homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Clinton, CT area. These are awake overnight positions. Staff must remain awake, alert, and actively working throughout the entire shift. Full-time schedules range from approximately 35 to 38 hours per week and include weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Complete regular safety and wellness checks Provide hands-on personal care, including incontinence care Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning Complete electronic documentation Read and update the home's communication log Perform light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Assist residents with their morning routines Follow individualized support and behavior plans Administer medication after completing the required certification Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license held for at least one year Reliable personal vehicle Acceptable driving record Ability to drive an agency vehicle At least one year of caregiving, CNA, PCA, medical, residential, or related experience Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and provide physical assistance Comfortable providing hands-on personal and incontinence care Available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Able to remain awake and alert throughout the entire overnight shift Paid Training Provided New-hire orientation CPR and First Aid Physical Management Training Therap documentation training Abuse and neglect prevention At least 25 hours of paid shadowing at the assigned home This is a great opportunity to join a supportive organization that promotes from within.
