• $17•23/hr FirstLight Home Care of Western Connecticut is hiring caring, dependable, and responsible Caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors and adults in Middletown, CT and surrounding areas .

We are looking for people who enjoy helping others and take pride in providing dependable, respectful care. Previous experience in home care, senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or similar settings is preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate without prior experience . Drivers are preferred, but you do not need to be a driver to apply . We have a variety of shifts available, including 4-12 hour shifts , with weekday, evening, weekend, and overnight opportunities depending on client needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with walking, transfers, repositioning, and other mobility needs. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed. Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and activities when appropriate. Follow each client's care plan and report changes or concerns to the office. Complete required documentation and communicate with the FirstLight team. Respect each client's dignity, privacy, independence, and personal preferences. Qualifications Caregiving or home care experience is preferred but not required . Experience working with seniors, dementia/memory care, disabilities, assisted living, or nursing home clients is a plus. HHA or CNA certification is a plus. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Dependable, responsible, and willing to follow through on scheduled shifts. Comfortable providing hands-on personal care. Able to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Reliable transportation is preferred, but driving is not required for every position . Must be committed to providing consistent and dependable care to our clients. Schedule 4-12 hour shifts available Part-time and full-time positions Weekday and weekend shifts Day, evening, and overnight shifts may be available Flexible scheduling based on client needs and your availability Pay $17

• 23 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, and assignment.
