Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, behavior, and overall condition; report any concerns promptly Support medication administration following prescribed instructions and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) guidelines to ensure confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Facilitate safe patient transfers using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Maintain accurate care plans and document patient progress, observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment that promotes dignity and resident's rights Skills Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly valued Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care best practices Ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and recognize signs of distress or deterioration Proficiency in assisting with ADLs such as grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, and personal transportation support Familiarity with medication administration procedures and basic first aid/CPR certification for emergency response preparedness Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is preferred Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams while respecting resident's rights Join us as a Compassionate Caregiver if you are committed to providing heartfelt support that improves lives.
