In this vital role, you will provide essential support to residents in assisted living, nursing homes, or community settings, ensuring they receive respectful, attentive care that promotes their independence and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident preferences, and any changes in condition Follow resident's rights and privacy policies diligently to uphold dignity and confidentiality Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support strategies, and memory care techniques Ability to perform first aid and CPR confidently in emergency situations Familiarity with safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity required for resident transfers and mobility assistance Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to provide compassionate support that enhances quality of life.
