Previous experience working as a Care Coordinator, Home Care Coordinator, Staffing Coordinator, or similar role in a home care, home health, or nurse registry setting is required. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands the day-to-day responsibilities of coordinating client services, managing schedules, coordinating caregiver referrals based on client needs, responding to call-outs and coverage issues, and maintaining consistent communication with clients, families, caregivers, and case managers. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, professional, and able to independently manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced home-care environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate client schedules and caregiver referrals based on client needs, caregiver qualifications, availability, location, and preferences Coordinate caregiver referrals and coverage options for new cases, open shifts, call-outs, cancellations, and schedule changes Communicate daily with clients, family members, independent contractor caregivers, case managers, and office staff Respond promptly to new referrals, client inquiries, scheduling requests, and service changes Assist with the coordination and setup of new client cases Follow up on open cases and outstanding scheduling needs until resolved Maintain accurate client, caregiver, scheduling, and case information in agency systems Document calls, client concerns, scheduling changes, and case-related follow-up Monitor schedules for uncovered shifts and potential service interruptions Assist with EVV issues, missed clock-ins/clock-outs, visit discrepancies, and related caregiver questions Use HHAeXchange for scheduling, visit coordination, EVV follow-up, and case documentation Communicate with Medicaid Long-Term Care case managers and other payer or referral representatives as needed Follow up with clients and families regarding service concerns and schedule changes Coordinate with credentialing, billing, administrative, and management staff when additional follow-up is required Maintain client and caregiver confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies Required Qualifications Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Home Care Coordinator, Staffing Coordinator, or similar home-care coordination role Experience coordinating caregivers and client schedules Experience handling open shifts, call-outs, cancellations, and last-minute coverage needs Strong telephone and customer-service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously Strong follow-through and ability to independently manage outstanding issues Comfortable using computers, email, and web-based healthcare systems Professional verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with HHAeXchange Experience with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Experience with Florida Medicaid Long-Term Care programs and/or managed care plans Previous experience with a Florida Nurse Registry, Home Health Agency, or home care organization About Mazal Nursing Services Mazal Nursing Services, Inc. is a Florida-licensed Nurse Registry serving clients throughout South Florida.
