BrightStar Care Pinellas is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide one-on-one home health support to clients throughout Pinellas County.   • Early morning shifts with flexible scheduling to help you work around personal commitments.
  • Opportunities for PRN and ongoing cases.
  • Competitive pay: PRN caregivers start at $17 per hour; ongoing caregivers who commit to at least 20 hours per week earn $18 per hour; couples care cases pay $20 per hour; select VIP cases pay up to $25 per hour.

  • Supportive office team dedicated to helping you succeed. About the Role As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care and companionship to clients in their homes. You will support each client's individualized care plan while helping create a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment. Responsibilities May Include
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living.
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with meals.
  • Completing light housekeeping related to the client's care.
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers.
  • Providing companionship and engaging clients in meaningful activities.
  • Providing medication reminders as permitted by applicable regulations and care plans.
  • Providing transportation or accompanying clients to appointments when assigned and authorized.
  • Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Following the client's individualized care plan.

  • Minimum of 6 months of documented caregiver experience.
  • Active smart mobile device for clocking in/out of shifts and documenting care.
  • Ability to work in Pinellas County.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
  • Second form of ID, such as Social Security card, passport, or birth certificate.
  • CPR certification.
HIV/AIDS CEU.
  • DEA Alzheimer's Certificate ( https://elderaffairs.org/resources/alzheimers-disease-and-related-dementias-training/ )
  • AHCA Level 2 background screening.(we pull this up in our system and you cannot have multiple short employment dates) https://info.flclearinghouse.com/
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check in addition to AHCA screening.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Benefits
