Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health stability Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies, to promote safety and comfort Follow safe patient lifting practices using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to prevent injury Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication-related activities Engage residents in social activities, group programs, and recreational outings to foster community involvement Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through routine cleaning and sanitation practices Communicate effectively with residents' families, healthcare teams, and team members to ensure coordinated care Uphold residents' rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individual preferences at all times Experience Prior assisted living or nursing home experience is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with cognitive disabilities or in memory care settings such as Alzheimer's or dementia care Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic first aid/CPR certification required Background in long-term care, home & community care, or residential care homes is advantageous Familiarity with behavior management techniques and safe patient handling practices is beneficial Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with seniors or individuals with disabilities in a caregiving capacity Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when needed for community outings or appointments Join us in making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
