In this vital role, you will assist seniors with daily activities, ensure their safety, and promote their overall well-being. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. This position offers an opportunity to work in diverse environments such as assisted living facilities or private residences, delivering personalized care that respects each resident's dignity and independence. Prepare nutritious meals Support memory care and dementia patients through specialized techniques such as Alzheimer's and hospice care strategies Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans that reflect each resident's needs and preferences Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing home, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances your ability to provide specialized care Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively for families.
