Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to assist individuals in need, providing essential support in various settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those with developmental disabilities, seniors, and individuals requiring specialized care. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients in daily activities, including personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Monitor and document patient behaviors, ensuring accurate record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas: Must Pass Level 2 background screening and Local background screening Experience or working with individuals with developmental disabilities Patient observation and monitoring techniques Assisted living home experience, particularly in dementia or Alzheimer's care Home & community care experience Knowledge of caregiving practices, including patient care, cleaning, cooking, and meal preparation Familiarity with direct support roles involving individuals with autism or other disabilities If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others and have the necessary skills to provide high-quality support, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
