As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities. Your support will help promote independence and dignity while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Duties In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including: Assisting residents with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with dining to ensure residents receive proper nutrition. Assisting with administering medication as prescribed and monitoring residents for any side effects or changes in condition. Implementing behavior management strategies to support residents with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Providing direct support to residents in daily activities, encouraging their independence while ensuring safety. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to the nursing staff. Engaging residents in social activities and promoting a positive community atmosphere within the facility.

Experience Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience working in a retirement home or personal care home setting. Familiarity with assisted living systems and protocols. Experience in home care or direct support roles, particularly with individuals with disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. A compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others live fulfilling lives.
