In this vital role, you will be the frontline provider of compassionate resident care, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being in a dynamic senior living environment. Your expertise will support residents with diverse needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care, hospice support, and medical assistance. Duties Assist residents with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene to promote independence and dignity Monitor and record vital signs, assisstance with medication administration, and changes in residents' conditions using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support residents with specialized needs including memory care strategies for dementia patients Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of medications and adherence to treatment plans Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining resident confidentiality and respecting their autonomy Perform manual handling tasks safely during resident transfers or heavy lifting requirements following proper protocols Skills Proven experience working with geriatric patients in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as ALIS or similar platforms for accurate documentation Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional training in basic life support (BLS) preferred Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's disease Strong communication skills for caregiving and caregiver interactions; ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Knowledge of state AHCA regulations, HIPAA compliance, and senior living facility standards for quality resident care Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly enhance the lives of seniors.
