Services focus on personal assistance, homemaking, companionship, and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), while promoting dignity, safety, and respect. Essential Responsibilities for Homemaker Services Perform light housekeeping, including: Sweeping and mopping floors Dusting and vacuuming Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms Washing dishes Making beds and changing linens Laundry and folding clothes Taking out trash Organize and maintain a safe, clean living environment. Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and obtaining household supplies when authorized. Companion & Community Support Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction. Documentation & Compliance Complete electronic visit verification (EVV) or timekeeping requirements. Follow all agency policies, HIPAA regulations, infection control procedures, and safety protocols. Report incidents, injuries, accidents, or concerns immediately. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to pass all required background screenings. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Must be physically able to assist with mobility, lifting, bending, and prolonged standing as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Compassionate, dependable, and patient. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Respect for client privacy, dignity, and cultural differences. Ability to recognize safety hazards and respond appropriately. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients as permitted by agency policy. Ability to perform household tasks safely and efficiently. Working Conditions Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings. Work schedules may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on client needs.
