Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Med Tech/Resident Care Aide, ALL
SHIFTS AVAILABLE!
In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to residents our TBI healthcare facility. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure residents receive the highest quality support, from assisting with daily activities to monitoring vital signs and administering medications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Paid positions are available across all shifts, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs. Assistance with self-Administration of medications and following physician orders and state regulations, ensuring safety and compliance. Support residents with specialized care needs including Traumatic Brain Injury. Document medical information and care activities using electronic health record (EHR) systems like ALISE with precision and confidentiality. Maintain a safe environment by practicing manual handling techniques and adhering to heavy lifting protocols. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans and address concerns promptly. Requirements Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care settings is highly preferred. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) are a plus. Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like ALISE; experience with EHR systems is advantageous. Ability to work effectively across all shifts—day, evening, or overnight—demonstrating flexibility and reliability. Strong caregiving skills with excellent communication abilities to engage empathetically with residents experiencing cognitive impairments. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare laws. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while supporting resident mobility needs.
