Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to elderly individuals, including those with disabilities. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes health, safety and well-being. Your enthusiasm for caregiving will help foster positive experiences and meaningful connections with those in your care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of families and individuals while honing your skills in elder and personal care in an Assisted Living environment. Duties Provide attentive care to elderly and disabled individuals, ensuring their health, safety and comfort at all times Assist with daily routines such as grooming, toileting, bathing, and dressing. Assist with basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns Collaborate with families to develop tailored care plans that meet individual needs Maintain a clean, safe environment by following proper hygiene practices and safety protocols Experience Prior experience working with the elderly in an ALF or similar roles is highly preferred Familiarity with behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively withco-workers or healthcare providers Join us as a Caregiver to make a meaningful difference!
