We are a trusted, registered non-medical homemaker and companion services agency dedicated to supporting seniors (aged 65+), adults with disabilities, and convalescent individuals in our community. Our mission is to alleviate unwanted stress and provide products, services and other non-medical options that offer adequate support for all our clients.
What You'll Do:
As a dedicated member of the Homesit LLC team, you will be a vital part of our wave of change. We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy Companions and Homemakers. You will provide non-medical, essential daily support, focusing on emotional engagement, household maintenance, and community access for clients in their homes rather than medical or personal care Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and cheerful Homemaker and Companion to join our team. In this role, you will be the heart of our non-medical services, assisting clients with household management and providing meaningful engagement to reduce isolation.
Companionship:
Provide emotional support, reducing isolation, engage in conversation, and accompany clients on walks, social outings, or assist with hobbies.
Homemaking:
Perform light housekeeping duties, including vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, doing laundry, and changing bed linens or other household tasks.
Meal Preparation/ Cooking:
Plan and cook nutritious meals,, following dietary instructions, restrictions and assist with grocery shopping as needed.
Errands & Transportation:
Safely drive clients to doctor appointments, pharmacy runs, personal visits, including personal travel and other necessary errands. Client Monitoring /
Engagement:
Maintain a safe home environment, promptly reporting any changes in the client's well-being to agency's management.
Documentation & Admin:
Complete daily reports, document any unperformed duties during shift changes, and verify client information.
Payroll Responsibilities:
Report all worked hours and mileage to ensure consistent payroll processing Why Join Us?

Qualifications Experience:
Previous homemaking, caregiving, or stay-at-home-making experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills are a must.
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. (Some college or currently attending college is welcome).
Soft Skills:
Excellent, respectful communication skills with a compassionate and enthusiastic outlook. Excellent driving record.
Flexibility:
Ability to multitask, pay attention and stay organized in a demanding, dynamic environment.
Personal Transportation :
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license if operating company vehicle and have reliable, insured transportation
Technical Skill :
Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in
English Employment Terms Tax Status:
W-4 employee.
Background Check:
Must be willing to complete necessary background and reference checks to comply with Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) regulations. Therefore, all applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening . Random and reasonable-suspicion drug testing will also be conducted during employment.
