Job Summary This is for Night Shift ONLY. 8p-8a or 7p-7a. Multiple days and weekends available! Join our dedicated team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate assistance with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and promote independence in a home or community setting. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help create a safe, comfortable environment for those in your care. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to deliver essential services that enhance quality of life for clients across various stages of health and mobility. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Support clients with cognitive challenges such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in meaningful activities Document care activities meticulously, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes preferred Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities, developmental delays, autism, or dementia Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in condition or behavior promptly Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Knowledge of medication administration protocols and vital signs monitoring Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Join us if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
