Job Description

We hiring WEEKEND Caregivers! We have Saturday and Sunday 8 hour shifts available for caregivers in Cartersville, GA assisting with a male client in the Cartersville, GA area with personal care needs ; client is paralyzed and needs assistance with all tasks (bed bathing, changing, meal prep and feeding, transfers from bed to power chair and back, etc). Client has Hoyer lift so experience using a Hoyer lift to transfer client is required. CNA/Caregiver MUST be able to work the following schedules: Saturdays 10am-6pm (flexible 8hr shifts to transport/accompany client out into the community for activities like going to watch automobile racing or movies or to eat, using his handicap accessible van) Sundays (8am-4pm As needed) (PLEASE

$13-$15hr

! Responsibilities of the

Caregiver:

Assist the Patient with ADL's. Aid with transferring patients and assist with ambulation. Assist patients with bathing, personal hygiene and grooming. Provide medication reminders. Monitor vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure. Perform light housekeeping and laundry. Set up of meal trays, and document food / fluid intake. Caregiver:

High school or equivalent 1 year of Home Care experience

CNA PREFERRED

but not Required Experience working with various client diagnoses Ability to use a Hoyer lift and/or transferring clients. Current TB and Physical (within the year) Current BLS CPR preferred (Classes offered)

Valid Driver's License Pay:
