• Sat-Sun 8am-4pm Duties include but not limited to
• Assist a stroke patient who suffers from aphasia and right sided weakness with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
• Administer medication as instructed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with meal preparation, therapy exercise, and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
• Practice Autonomy
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
