Position Summary Direct Care Staff are responsible for providing daily supervision, care, guidance, and support to youth residing in the group home. Staff are expected to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of each resident while maintaining a structured, nurturing, and trauma-informed environment. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Education, or a related field preferred. At least one (1) year of experience working with youth, adolescents, foster care, behavioral health, juvenile justice, or residential care preferred. Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass state and federal criminal background checks, fingerprinting, and any required drug screening. Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire. Must complete all required state pre-service and annual training. Required Knowledge and Skills Understanding of trauma-informed care and positive youth development. Ability to supervise youth in a residential setting while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to de-escalate conflict using approved crisis intervention techniques. Knowledge of child abuse reporting requirements and mandated reporter responsibilities. Ability to complete daily logs, incident reports, medication documentation (if assigned), and other required records accurately and on time. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Ability to work evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays as scheduled. Essential Duties Supervise and ensure the safety of youth at all times. Implement daily schedules, routines, and recreational activities. Assist residents with life skills, personal hygiene, homework, and independent living skills. Transport youth to school, medical appointments, court appearances, and community activities as needed. Administer medications only if trained and authorized. Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe living environment. Document resident behavior, incidents, and progress according to agency policy. Participate in treatment team meetings and communicate effectively with supervisors and service providers. Respond appropriately to emergencies and behavioral crises. Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour
