Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support. Operate specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer the individual and prevent injury. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of personal and medical supplies. Support the individual's emotional well-being through engaging activities, companionship, and respectful communication. Skills Experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments with a focus on patient observation and monitoring - preferred but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to proper techniques; experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred. Demonstrated compassion for seniors or individuals with disabilities coupled with a proactive approach to patient safety and social support.
