Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in assisted living and long-term care settings. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring that residents' rights are upheld while fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and document patients' health status, reporting any changes to administrative staff as necessary. Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, particularly those with autism or other developmental challenges. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by following proper hygiene practices and safety protocols. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Engage residents in recreational activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Skills Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them. Experience in providing care within in-home care, assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and basic medical terminology. Ability to cook nutritious meals while accommodating dietary restrictions. Compassionate attitude towards working with individuals with autism or similar conditions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence when required. $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
