Full-time schedule; flexibility may be needed based on participant and staffing needs Make a difference while taking the next step into leadership! Renewed Horizons is looking for dependable, compassionate, and motivated House Leads to help support our participants and our Residential team. This position combines direct participant care with additional leadership responsibilities within the home. As a House Lead, you'll work alongside our DSPs while helping ensure the home runs smoothly, participant needs are met, documentation is completed, and staff have the support and direction they need.

What You'll Do:

Support Participants

• Provide hands-on support with daily living skills, meals, medications, appointments, personal care, household responsibilities, and community activities. Lead & Support Staff
• Work alongside DSPs, provide guidance and support, help train staff, reinforce expectations, and lead by example. Keep Things Organized
• Help ensure participant documentation, household responsibilities, appointments, supplies, and other day-to-day needs are completed and communicated. Communicate
• Maintain positive communication with participants, DSPs, supervisors, management, and other members of the participant's support team. Encourage Independence
• Help participants develop skills, make choices, advocate for themselves, and become more independent in their everyday lives. Get Out in the Community
• Support participants with shopping, appointments, recreational activities, Special Olympics, SNR activities, and other community outings. (Must be willing to use your personal vehicle when needed.) Provide Personal Care
• Assist with toileting, showering, perineal care, hygiene, and other personal care needs for participants who require assistance. ️ Promote Safety
• Help prevent and manage crisis situations while maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment. Be a Leader
• Model professionalism, dependability, teamwork, accountability, and the quality of care we expect throughout Renewed Horizons.

What You'll Need:

Must be at least 18 years old Valid Driver's License Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance Ability to pass a Background Check Ability to work independently and take initiative Strong communication and organizational skills Dependability and good follow-through Ability to lead, coach, and support other staff Willingness to provide hands-on participant care Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Positive attitude and participant-first mindset Don't have all of your certifications yet? We've got you covered! Renewed Horizons will pay for required CPR & First Aid and Assistance with Medications training after hire.
