Job Summary We are a 24 bed facility specializing in merely care and hospice We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential suppet And care for our residents Day Shift 3 x 12 hr shifts - Hiring immediately Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care and support to individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and autism. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' health status. Administer medications as per care plans and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry. Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely when required for mobility assistance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is essential. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client assistance. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Understanding of memory care practices and experience in hospice care is beneficial.
