Caregiver / Home Care Aide Blazing Star Home Care LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate, and reliable caregivers to join our growing home care team. We are currently hiring for an immediate client assignment in the Bartlett, IL area, while also building our caregiver team for current and future assignments throughout DuPage, Cook, and Kane County areas.

IMPORTANT - CURRENT BARTLETT ASSIGNMENT

Our current Bartlett client is bed-bound and requires significant assistance with repositioning, mobility, and transfers. Applicants interested in this assignment MUST be physically capable of safely lifting, supporting, and assisting with up to 50 lbs as part of client care. Experience caring for bed-bound or non-ambulatory clients, including repositioning and transfer assistance, is strongly preferred.

PAY & POSITION

Pay:

$18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Assist bed-bound and non-ambulatory clients with repositioning and mobility Provide safe transfer assistance as required by the client's care plan Safely lift, support, or assist with up to 50 lbs when required by the assignment Assist with meal preparation and basic meal cleanup Provide medication reminders Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care Provide companionship and supervision Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, or needs to the agency supervisor Complete required caregiver documentation Follow the client's care plan and Blazing Star Home Care policies and procedures Respect each client's privacy, dignity, preferences, and independence

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous caregiving, home care, senior care, CNA, or related experience preferred Experience caring for bed-bound or non-ambulatory clients is strongly preferred for the current Bartlett assignment Experience with safe repositioning and transfer techniques is preferred Must be physically capable of safely lifting/supporting up to 50 lbs for assignments requiring this level of assistance Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional Must be punctual and reliable Good communication and interpersonal skills Must have reliable transportation to assigned client locations Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must successfully complete required background checks and other employment requirements Must complete required agency orientation and training

SCHEDULE & CLIENT ASSIGNMENTS

This is a part-time position. Schedules and weekly hours vary depending on client needs and caregiver availability. We currently have an immediate need in Bartlett, IL. Additional assignments may become available throughout our service area as Blazing Star Home Care continues to grow. Caregivers may be matched with assignments based on client needs, caregiver experience, availability, and preferred service area. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on client availability.
