Job Description
Job Summary:
- Bilingual is preferred. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homemaker to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of caregiving, including dementia care, home care, childcare, direct support, and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate personnel
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving roles such as assisted living, long term care, or patient care
- Knowledge of dementia care best practices and techniques
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
