Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various caregiving environments, including assisted living, group homes, and home health settings. This position involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their safety and well-being, and creating a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide personal care and daily support to individuals with a variety of needs, including developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or autism. Monitor clients' health by checking vital signs and observing changes in their physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning while following individual dietary requirements. Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment by completing light housekeeping and general cleaning tasks. Administer medications as prescribed and follow established care plans and medication protocols. Safely use mobility equipment, including Hoyer lifts, when needed to assist with client transfers. Encourage and participate in social and recreational activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Accurately document all care provided while maintaining client confidentiality and following HIPAA regulations. Skills Knowledge and ability to perform basic First Aid and CPR techniques. Previous experience in home health, hospice care, nursing homes, assisted living, group homes, or long-term care settings. Strong observation skills with the ability to recognize and report changes in a client's health, condition, or behavior. Ability to assist with physical transfers and perform heavy lifting when supporting clients with mobility needs. Familiarity with cleaning procedures, infection control, and maintaining proper hygiene standards in caregiving environments. Understanding of individualized care plans and medication administration procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
