Center for Independent Living Champaign, IL Job Details Part-time $15 - $22 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications Individual photography clients Caregiving Developmental disability care assistance Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Performing background checks Disability services experience Full Job Description PACE offers orientation and placement on a referral list for potential Personal Support Workers (PSW) who would like to find work assisting adult consumers and/or families of children with developmental disabilities. We are looking for reliable, dependable individuals who want to make a difference. PSWs who are interested will attend an orientation that would assist them in understanding the requirements of being a PSW. Orientation consists of understanding the PSW program, qualifications and the process on how to be a PSW. You must attend the orientation and clear the required background checks to be placed on our referral list. Work can include activities of daily living tasks that will assist consumers to increase their independence. You may also be supporting someone out in the community. Wage is determined by the Employer based upon several requirements. •This is not a guaranteed job, only a referral list.• We will give to the Employers potential PSW names after the PSWs complete the orientation.
