Arden Rose Home Care is looking for caring and reliable Caregivers and Companions to provide non-medical support to older adults. Whether you have caregiving experience or simply have a heart for helping others, we are looking for people who enjoy building relationships and helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, engaged and independent. What Does a Caregiver / Companion Do? Our clients have a wide range of needs, and you are individually matched with clients based on your experience, skill set, comfort level, availability and the type of care you are looking to provide.
Assignments may include:
Companionship, conversation and socialization Escorting clients to physician appointments, errands or activities Meal preparation and light household assistance Activities, hobbies and engagement General non-medical support and reminders Assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming Toileting and personal care Mobility and other activities of daily living (ADLs) This is non-medical caregiving. Some clients simply need companionship and a helping hand, while others require more hands-on assistance with daily activities. Requirements Compassionate, patient and dependable Able to provide safe, respectful care to older adults Able to complete required background screening and employment requirements Willing to complete required orientation, training and competency evaluations Ability to perform the duties required for the clients you accept Previous caregiving experience is welcomed, but certification is not required. Required caregiver training will be provided or arranged by Arden Rose in accordance with Illinois requirements. You will be matched with clients whose needs are appropriate for your training, skills and comfort level. Why Caregiving? Caregiving is more than helping with daily tasks. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
