Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation to promote health and well-being. Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning tasks, laundry assistance, and organization of personal spaces. Qualifications Proven experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Familiarity with care procedures such as patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and execute manual handling tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
