Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring dependable, compassionate caregivers to join our growing team! We are looking for full-time caregivers with open availability who are comfortable assisting clients with transfers, including Hoyer lift experience. Position Highlights $19-$20 per hour Full-time hours available Open availability strongly preferred Flexible 4, 8, and 12-hour shifts Opportunities for consistent hours Supportive office team and ongoing training Opportunities to work with a variety of clients and care needs What You'll Do As a caregiver, you may assist clients with: Personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Toileting and incontinence care Meal preparation and light housekeeping Companionship and engagement Ambulation and mobility assistance Transfers and safe repositioning Hoyer lift transfers Fall prevention and maintaining a safe environment Following individualized care plans and documenting care provided Qualifications Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred Hoyer lift and/or transfer experience strongly preferred Comfortable assisting clients with mobility needs Reliable transportation Dependable and punctual Ability to communicate professionally with clients, families, and the office team Must be able to pass required background/IDPH requirements CPR certification preferred or willingness to complete training
