NorthPointe Terrace We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Assisted Living team. The Personal Care Attendant/CNA plays a vital role in supporting residents with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to a warm, resident-centered environment. If you have a passion for caring for others and want to make a difference every day, we encourage you to apply. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Provide support with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed. Monitor and document residents' physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions. Measure and record vital signs according to facility policy. Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using proper safety techniques and equipment. Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff. Promote resident independence while preserving dignity, privacy, and respect. Participate in resident care planning and team meetings as assigned. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures. Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism.
Job Requirements:
Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing. Valid driver's license CPR Certification within 3 months of hire Ability to perform resident transfers and assist with mobility safely. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare team members Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care. Must complete the required medication training course Strong observation and reporting skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and quality care. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
