Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistance devices Monitor patient health, observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare teams Medications reminders and follow care plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility protocols Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in meal preparation areas Support residents with care needs, Laundry Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic living space for residents or clients Document patient observations, care activities, and progress meticulously to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving credential required; experience in home health or long-term care preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards necessary for safeguarding sensitive information Spanish Speaking caregiver CPR and First Aid certifications required; ongoing training in Alzheimer's or hospice care is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks such as transferring residents using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
